Withdrawal Policy

Consumer withdrawal information for digital NomadOS subscriptions. For Managed Payments transactions, customers normally use Stripe/Link for payment-level order support and refunds; NomadOS remains available for product support.

1. Normal route

Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires fourteen (14) days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

For transactions processed through Stripe Managed Payments, Link/Stripe handles transaction-level order support and refund requests. Use the Link order-management or support options shown in your Stripe/Link receipt where available. A separate NomadOS form is normally not needed. You may also notify us by email at info@brandenburger-digital-systems.com; we remain responsible for product-level support and can coordinate with Stripe/Link where payment processing is handled by them.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send an unequivocal withdrawal notice before the withdrawal period has expired. The optional model notice at the bottom of this page is provided for statutory transparency, but it is not the normal support route.

2. Refunds and payment support

If a withdrawal is valid and the withdrawal right has not expired, the payment is refunded to the original payment method unless another route is required by mandatory law. For Managed Payments transactions, Stripe/Link may process the payment-level refund and sends refund notifications directly to the customer.

Stripe documentation states that customers can manage orders through Link, that Link handles transaction-level support, and that Stripe may contact us when product-level input is required. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights you may have.

3. Early loss of the right of withdrawal (§ 356 (5) BGB)

For contracts on the supply of digital content (such as access to the NomadOS web application) that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires even before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period if both of the following apply:

  1. You have expressly consented at checkout that we begin to perform the contract (provide access to the paid features) before the withdrawal period expires; and
  2. You have acknowledged that, by giving this consent, you lose your right of withdrawal as soon as we begin performance.

For the online checkout flow of NomadOS, this declaration is required because the product is intended to unlock immediately after successful payment. If you do not wish to make this declaration, the online checkout cannot be completed.

We record this consent with the Stripe Checkout session and subscription metadata. After checkout, Stripe sends the transaction receipt or confirmation email; keep it together with these withdrawal instructions for your records.

4. Optional written notice

This is not a NomadOS support form and you normally do not need to use it. It is the optional statutory model notice for customers who still want to send a written withdrawal notice directly to NomadOS. For Managed Payments transactions, Link/Stripe order support remains the primary payment-level route.
